Rabbit_Ryan
hey,i first bought a stupidly cheap smk b-2,just for learning now im thinking of asking for a whisper,is it legal in the uk?and any suggestions on other rifles around that price.thanks
rompom
If you're looking for a cheap springer I'd recommend the Norica Dragon. Great rifle, very light, powerful and accurate (fantastic barrel) and it's about £120. To be honest I'd go to your local gun shop and see what they've got at your price range. SteveieP
The Gamo Delta is a low power thing, so unless you just want a plinking gun go for the Shadow if you're keen on a Gamo. I suspect many on here would steer you towards a BSA Lightning XL Tactical if you're after a synthetic stock. V. competent gun & if spares are ever needed, being British built, it shouldn't be a problem. I understand the Gamo's are let down a bit by the trigger but you could consider an aftermarket replacement when money allows. I'm assuming that, to some extent the choice of the Gamo is price-driven. http://www.charliedatuna.com/ is the place to get an aftermarket trigger for under £20 inc postage from the USA. Having never owned nor shot a Gamo, I can't comment further, but have no reason to assume that they are anything other than a competent (if no frills) piece of kit.
