M ROBSON
If I could choose a perfect magnet I'd like a slimline magnet painted olive green, without any box sections on the arms (full length spring steel only), and the cradle holding the pigeon in the "stoop" position. As yet I've never seen one that has all these factors together. The Pinewood has most of them but cost a fortune! Mark.
Highlander
I have one of those...an original Phil Beasley magnet with loooong springy arms but it ain't slimline. Built like a tank and weighs as much You can get the pigeon to 'stoop' by playing around with the wing spreaders. Pinewood stuff is very good, very well engineered but it is very expensive. Still if you want stuff to last you pays your money...
M ROBSON
I have two of the original magnets with the long spring arms, but like you say it's bulky and very heavy. A couple of the spring arms have also broken at the weld point due to over-use! It would be nice if someone designed a magnet with all these good features included. Mark.
