vole
I have managed to get my 12 week old pup to walk around the garden on a lead using training methods I read on PW. Seemed to go ok but trying to walk her round the block has been a nightmare. She somersaults and generally does not do what she does in the garden,I guess its the distractions. What do you folks do to get a pup to walk on a lead? I have read up but wonder what happens in the real world too. Thanks.
Lancs Lad
Simply stick the collar on and take it for a walk.......... Its going to do pup things for quite some time, its bound to..........dont expect too much from it at the moment mate. It will be like a kid in a sweet shop,,,,,,running round pulling around lying around.... Keep up the work in the garden then once its used to being on the lead then take it out........... Any persistant naughty behaviour should be met with a firm NO.
