The sound works but it is so quiet that you have to hold it next to your ear to hear it.

Don't want to be insulting here but I assume your sets have volume controls and you have tried that?

 

When I have had problems with mine it has always been due to water getting in and on both occasions it has meant sending the sets away.Fortunately they were under warranty but get a quote first as a repair could cost more than new sets.

I ain't that dosy mate :oops:

 

I will have to have a look. It was only £50 for the pair a few years ago so it would probably be less expensive to buy a new set
