game_boy
Would 30mm Sako Optilock Mounts (high) be too big for my nighteater with 56mm obj ??
Baldrick
Standard barrel profile, or varmint barrel?

Baldrick
You surprise me - I don't know many CZ452 owners who don't use Sportsmatch or Millett mounts (myself included). Fair play to you for going for the best mounts available. I think you will find the 30mm high ring mounts OK, maybe too high with the CZ's spindly barrel. I have the 30mm medium Optilocks on a heavy-barrelled Tikka T3 wearing a 56mm scope, and this allows clearance for a Butler Creek cover. Have you checked the measurements given on the Sako website? http://www.sako.fi/optilockproducts.php?ringmounts
game_boy
Not yet Baldrick, I know nothing about mounts just that the Sako ones are good. Only asking as Dazza was selling a set on here, but I think they'll be too high according to the link you gave. Have you a link for some mounts that would do the job ? Baldrick
http://opticswarehouse.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=to35c I have the medium 30mm version of this on a CZ rimfire, and the 1" versions on two other rifles. They are cheap, but effective. You can also buy the same mounts on Uttings.com.
