You will have a lot of choice of makes, and also barrel lengths, game/sporter configurations etc. A lot of dealers are feeling the strain now, so it is a buyers' market. You won't go wrong with a Miroku though. It will hold its value well, and outlast you. They're not heavy - it's just that Berettas are light, made for 95lb Italian weaklings. Whilst I have a Beretta, I prefer the deeper action and fuller stock of my Miroku. It feels sturdier.
