I am not sure how to go about this but i will have a good try. its a super-gen tube but that does not mean a lot to me as i am a complete NV novice. it was built for spotting/observation and is a prototype/hybrid thing. it has been built into a plastic tubular case with a external on board compact battery pack that has a on off switch in it too. the front of the unit is capable of fitting just about any screw on camera lens you can get so its usage has a good range the power switch is a push on and hold to keep it powered up, release and it switches off. it comes with what i have been told is a cats eye lens, so you are up and running already.(m42 thread thanks craig ) the unit has no shut down when over exposed to light ( what ever that means.)
