nicholiath
Hi all, Being a total reloading newbie how do you work out how many grains the lee loadall powder bushings hold as they are only marked with a three digit number? probably a stupid question so i am prepared for abuse as well as advice!!!!!!!! Windknot
Three words: USE A SCALE! Powders vary from lot to lot, sometimes a little, sometimes a lot. If you're using something like Red Dot or E3 you could be in the market for a new gun, physiotherapy or a plot in the marble farm before long. The Lyman Shotshell Reloading guide gives ballpark figures for most manufacturer's bushings.
MC
I use a loadall and if you post what powder you are going to use and what weight of powder you are trying to get I will look it up for you. Clay game reloaders produce a load chart CD and it lists which bush gives what weight of powder. You will still need to check it on a set of powder scales to be sure.
