I'm from Tunbridge wells i ferret and hunt with an air-rifle i want to apply for my sgc and need an introduction to shotguns so do you think it would be a good idea to shoot a few clays first and would i have to have some surpervision for competancy

Would suggest that you get 1 or 2 lessons from a professional coach to learn about shotgun and safety. Will help you with interview with firearms officer and your SGC application.

Hi everyone.

I'm new here on this webernet thing.

I only have a side by side 12g Baikal and a Webley 410 B/A (bought for my nephew to have a go on)

I have shot rabbits before with a 22L CZ but that was my brother in law's rifle in Ireland.

I'd like to bash some bunnies with my shotgun if anyone has any shooting going that they are willing to share.

I have a proper 4x4 that I don't mind getting dirty and it takes 5 in the cab and (strictly off road only) can carry four or so in the load bed as well.

I'm based in Sidcup.

I'm a bit bored of shooting clays so I have really cut it back to once every couple of months or I just don't care if I hit em or not.

I'm thinking of buying an escort but not sure to go semi or pump. I fancy a pump. As I say I'm not too fussed about clay shooting and not at all interested in competition.

I'd love to hear from anyone who could help me get out for some shooting.

Thanks

Steve
