What cleaning products for a shotgun? Kit or individual bits?

I will be getting my first shotgun next week and need to get a cleaning kit.

After doing a search here, Ebay and the web in general, I have found 100s of kits, but they are all different.. Some have too many bits.. Others too few.. Some have oils/cleaners/lubricants.. Others done.. Some are sprays.. Some are liquids, so I am now wondering if I am simply better off buying the bits seperatly.

I wonder if this is a good starting point:

I have also heard that this is a good kit:

But I have seen this in the flesh and you don't get much for you money..

Can someone give me a list of exactly (everything) what I need to keep the gun maintained....

I look forwards to your replies.

What you will need is this-

A cleaning rod

Brass Jag

Jag for patches

Wool Mop

Patches ( for 12 bore or what ever bore of gun you own)

Gun Oil

Rag ( to wipe small amount of oil over you barrels and action)

basicly thats all you need

The first kit in the links above, should be good enough for your needs - or look on ebay
