Pork Brine Cure

Hi everyone,

 

I'm picking up a whole leg of pork to cure tomorrow in brine preferably. I saw hugh's butcher do it on one of his programs a few weeks back, and it looked very simple and very easy, hence my attempt.

 

However, i'm struggling to find a recipe and after a few searches on the web they all seem a little different.

 

No doubt someone has done this on here before now and has a recipe. I wasnt planning on injecting (bom bom tish) but if it is recommened i have to aquire the equipment.
