Wookie
30 metres at a standard Bisley practice card. Breeze was light and slightly in my face, moving left to right. Rifle used was a Falcon FN12 Raptor Lighthunter PCP air rifle with a Simmons 3-9x40 Deerfield scope. Pellets were accupell. Since this was the result of re-zeroing my setup, I thought I would have a go at a decent card. I still have a bit of work to do on the group though! Wookie
Oh yeah, forgot to mention that there's four shots in that single hole and a single flyer below it.
Devilishdave
do you know what caused the flyer? Dave
dunganick
thats certainly a tidy group, shame about the flyer.........last shot? ive messed up cards so many times on the last shot, its always when you realise its your last shot and you cant mess it up
Wookie
The flyer was just me giving the trigger just a little too much pull instead of squeezing it like all the others. If it wasn't so cold at the moment, I'd have another go. Wookie
Devilishdave
As Long as you know whare you have gone wrong it can easily be rectified, not a bad little group. Dave
Wookie
Thanks, but I still have a lot to do before I get back to the level I was back when I was shooting .22LR every week. I remember, back in the day, I could get penny sized groups in a pop-up target 1.5" wide at 25 metres. Three seconds of pop up and the rifle out of my shoulder before it popped up. Mind you, I was a lot younger back then and I didn't have problems with my knees... Oh yes, and that was before smoking and drinking took away my fitness!
