jonnyoftheboy
Guys I have a Discovery 3 that I generally drive to wherever I go to shoot clays. due to space issues, I cannot lay guns flat in back. Any other thoughts on how to best secure the gun? Have seen trigger locks on internet (but don't look too much of a deterrent!), & was thinking of looking into those security cables that could lock through the trigger.... but this would mean breaking the gun into pieces in the boot - maybe need to get a new gun slip for a broken gun? other precautions? as having not long had the licence.... don't wanna go losing it in case of a car break in!!!! any responses/opinions welcomed/appreciated..... taking into account that it is a family car 1st & foremost I suppose! (rather than a shooting wagon!) Edited December 24, 2008 by jonnyoftheboy
p-a-s
hi jonny.if i`m allowed to put this(lintran)make a slide out drawer unit that you put under the dog cage if thats what you have.these are lockable and discreet, and would take a couple of shotguns if broken plus a space for cartridges. but there not cheap, might be an idea.hth paul
