ironduke
good post ozzy. This subject has got me thinking.... I have a SGC, insurance and permission from the keeper on the estate i shoot on. I was thinking of offering to take somebody out with me at some point who wants to have a go, and hopefully get into, shooting. I was thinking it would be good for them to get an understanding of safety and handling before going to a clay grund (if indeed they feel thay want to) with an audiance, which i know some people could find off putting initiallly. Obviousley this person has no SGC and would be under my strict supervision, looking down the rib supervision. After reading this thread im not so sure now. What are people thoughts? ozzy518
If you are lucky enough to live in a county where the chief of police allows it then I would say Yeah great take him. But, check with your FEO first mate, as can be seen on this thread, different counties use different guidance/legislation.
