paulos
Any uni lads on here going? I have been in two minds about it but now that I have seen that the flush has been done away with and that the shoot now consists of 100 birds over 14 stands I can't wait. Should be a cracker! paulos
Yeah, the flush wasn't particularly good last time, partly due with it being cut down to 50 bird. But given they had about 350 entries, you can see why they have changed things. If anything I thing this is a fairer way of doing it. I'm coming down from Northumbria Uni although I am now an "old boy" grad, so will be there for banter rather than points Is there anything on at Harper afterwards this year? turner2785
great stuff good to hear people are still keen to travel. i used to help run our shooting club at harper and organised it one year. in true agric style there will be a do on at harper afterwards i should think, we used to have a meal as well but not sure about that one this time. think we are putting in 5 teams this year and possibly an old boys team, you should get something together for northumbria! paulos
Oh don't worry, we will have a couple of car fulls going There is definitely a grad team and at least one champ team as well. I need to get the 1st team whipped into shape beforehand though. Every year we have been just outside the medals - usually only by one or two clays Not this time!!! (Although getting a graduate medal away from your lads will be a different matter altogether! ) I will see if any of the lads are willing to ditch our antisocial habits and join in the fun and games afterwards this time.
