YoungGun91
Now that the Pheasant shooting season is over and duck  Im into pigeons now so i went out for a walk with my dog spoke to the gamekeeper and farmer who were doing a bit of roost shooting and all of a sudden 200plus pigeons came over head and went straight down to some early drillings a couple of acres away. Me and my dad are going over early tomorow morning. whats the best thing to do in the mornings. Do decoys work well, i have used them on frosts and that was good but im not sure. any ideas? lurcherboy
Do some reccies first matey. They may well do that every day but a what time, weather conditions etc. Dont expect 200 to commit suicide just because you saw some today. It would be better to see where they are coming from and to launch an ambush (bushwacking). That way they should come in managable numbers. Either way good luck
