0verbets
hi guys if you read my previous post you will know im new to airgunning, and your help is proving invaluble. my question this time is with .22 pellets you can get variable sizes ie 5.50mm/5.51mm/5.52mm..... i know these vary by a minute amount, but should you use these "larger" sizes in a new gun or are they just for older guns with a bit of wear insde the barrel? thanks for reading 0verbets

realtreedave
most guns available in the uk have either british made barrels[bsa]or german made ones[lothar walther or weirarch].the british barrels tend to be tighter hence the variety of pellet sizes .the difference originaly came about over the conversion from imperial to metric measurements

I always pick threw and put damaged ones a side for targets and good ones for hunting.
