beretta swapping barrels

hi there,

 

i think i already no the awncer to this question but i wonted some advice any way, i have a beretta s686sporting with fixed chokes and my brother has the exact same gun but with a multi choke barrel, i have put his barrels on mine just out off intrest, i have not used the gun because evan thought they are a perfect fit i dont no if it is safe to do it? if it was possible i was going to try and find another set off barrels for my gun.

As far as I know you can get any barrel (with enough metal I guess) bored and threaded for chokes and teague is a trade name for one company that makes them and fits them. I sort of looked into it when I had a full choke gun, my RFD said it was around £100 per barrel not sure if that includes choke tubes or not. There may be other companies that do it as well not sure.
