amateur
I nobbled a rook this morning in the garden, and no sooner had I shot it than there suddenly appeared good half dozen magpies - none landed, they were just making a hell of a noise from the neighbours' roof-tops. This was the first rook that I have shot, so is this a normal magpie reaction? I have shot a load of pigeons out of the garden, but had no reaction from the magpies (nor indeed anything else) to their demise. Had I left the rook there, would the magpies have landed in the garden? Edited March 20, 2009 by amateur
ironhorse
Your magpies or rooks/ crows will kick up a fuss when one of there kind is dropped, but they will just circle for a while then lieve
