I've never managed to find a butcher who wants rabbits or pigeon unfortunately. Personally I don't like either so the foxes get them (farmer wants them on his land to help keep pests down) - it's no waste really as I enjoy the sport but it can get a little expensive when I'm not working (especially as I spend my free time shooting :hmm: ).

You should ask around most butchers around here will take them, my one has been importing rabbits this winter because he cannot get enough locally.

My local butcher offered me £1.80 per rabbit gutted and skinned he was very keen on getting a local supplier as he gets his in fozen alot of the time, said to him i often bring in 60+ in a night as i only lamp once a week and there is no way i can process that many so said i would carry on supplying to my game dealer for £1 in the fur & headshot, local Zoo pays 80p if i miss and hit the body. he was a bit upset.
