gdunc Posted March 24, 2009 Report Share Posted March 24, 2009 I'm in a similar position and am going to a pointer and setter trial over grouse on Thursday to see the dogs work. I recently bought a book by Derry Argue which I think is called Pointers & Setters - sorry dont have it to hand. Try a search for Derry Argue and you should find it. He's a bit of an expert on the big breeds in pointers and the book has a bit of training advice. There are more good books but I'll have to speak to my pointer expert friend to see what they are.
