bolinger3
Hi guys, I have a honda foreman 400 that only has power to the front wheels, i think the teeth on the drive shaft have worn down at the rear. i need it back in action asap for some hard work on the farm, but refuse to pay top prices for a dealer to look at it for 20mins then charge me a stupid some of money. please could you quad experts give me some adivce on the problem and let me know where i could pick up the new parts. regards will
mr lee
Best advice I could give you would be to buy a Clymer manual for it. £20 well spent! Strip it down and find the problem them order the correct parts rather than having to guess beforehand. (google search/bt online or a Thomweb search will find you a Honda ATV dealer) Is it switchable 4 wheel drive or not? If it is and you can't hear a grating/crunching noise from the rear it could well be just a ******** switch. One thing I will say about the Honda's is they are fairly easy to work on once you get the plastics out of the way.
