Hi

Are Boresnakes better than brush/jag/mop, the same as or a useful alternative to? Or are they for use in the field to be followed by a "proper" cleaning once at home? As a newcomer my gun is currently spotless, does it need to be after every shoot or can it be less than perfect? What about oiling?

Questions, so many questions!

personaly, i find the bore snake easier and does a great job, one pull through and its spotless, i clean mine every time i use them, you dont have to and there are many that dont, but my guns were a good few quid so i like to keep them nice, and if the truth be told, i like cleaning them, top right of screen in search box type in gun cleaning, there will be loads of topic to read on whats best, how to, and peoples different methods,

happy shooting my friend,

Lee
