joeplease
me and my brother have just started airgunning, we spent £40 between us on a bsa meteor from a friend's dad who is the local gamekeeper ( not sure if this is a good deal?) i would like a scope for it but i'm unsure about what type to get and what sort of mounts it has? would also like a suppressor as well. it will mainly be used for shooting rats, squirrels and pigeons on our own land at ranges of up to 30 yards. preferably the total cost would be not too expensive. i Look forward to your help Edited March 31, 2009 by joeplease
Beardo
it will take standard dovetail mounts. get yourself a Weirhauch moderator (if it's screw cut it will go straight on, if not you'll need an over the barrel type). I'd recommend the Walther scopes, cheap and bloody good for the price
realtreedave
try keeping the range down to about 20yards with this rifle.4x32,6x40 or3-9x40 spec scopes should suit your needs[try walther, hawke or ags]personaly i dont rate siencers very highly on springers as most of the noise is mechanicaland right next to your ear ,not emanating from the muzzle.this rifle should make a good starting point, but keep your spend down and put your savings on one side because you will eventualy upgrade
