jaycey
Hi all, ive just put in for my SGC and have decided to get my cabinet and mount it ready for my 'visit'. Now I live on the 4th floor of a council estate and we are the highest so were not over looked. I didnt have any cupbard space to put the cabinet in so ive mounted it in the corner of my bedroom, to the external brick wall in a left hand corner. Its a Brattonsound 3gun full length. The only way the cabinet could be viewed is if a visitor actually walked into my bedroom which is unlikely unless invited in there (the Mrs would have something to say about that!) But im worried that it isnt hidden away so to speak, should I just wait for the visit and take the officers advice or does this sound like a total 'No-No' Cheers
CZ550Kevlar
friend of mine got some velcro, stuck it around the top of the cabinet, went to a fabric shop got some material, attached velcro to that, put it around the cabinet to cover it the bought a vase with fake flowers in it and put it on top, then on first glance no one would think ahhh gun cabinet. J@mes
I think the requirement is "out of site of casual visitors" so I would imagine that anyone who is going to be entering your bedroom is possibly going to know you have guns anyway, so it shouldnt be an issue.
