fieldwanderer
just in case someone else wants one they also had a second hand one for 395 hardly used mark Not any more there isn't How're you getting on with yours mark? I like mine a lot but having a little trouble setting the scope up (due to the weather I think). Thanks for the heads up I've got a mod, bipod and large scope on mine and it's main downfall is it's a bit heavy (also got a sling though). markw
getting on great with mine i have mounted a nvscopes sm3 d/n on it bought the sak mod from the shop aswell stuck my harris bipod on it to got to get a sling yet not seen a decent one yet i have tried federal premiers through it and also hornady v max b/ts both seem to shoot excellent with 1/2 groups at 70 yrds i already knew these were heavy as main reason for getting one was my mate has one and was hooked as soopn as i used it i am a fairly big bloke so can hump it about if needed most of my shooting is done rested out of a 4x4 or from sticks so wont be getting carried very far anyway glad someone else got the s/h one it was a bargain (if it shoots okay) mark Edited April 18, 2009 by markw
fieldwanderer
yeah, shoots great - in next to no wind! I've transferred my simmons scope, harris bi-pod and ase-utra mod onto it as well as a cheapish sling, as the name says - most of my shooting involves wandering around fields, I like heavy rifles (used to be well into target shooting) and I'm happy with it but the sling's a god-send! Put 130ish shots through it sofar and the bunnys are taking quite a beating! I heated the trigger spring up (last three or four coils of the thicker section) and squashed them to lighten the trigger a bit more than standard as it was way too heavy for my liking. Thanks again, look after it!
