David BASC
Well done you, you have made the right decision to join an association. There are loads of associations out there so you are spolit for choice. All offer insurance, and all include public liability, the bit you need certainly. But importantly they all do more things for shooting and some do more for filedsports in general. Have a chat with the other guys you are shooting with to see who they are members of, and then check out the web sites of the organisations, make your choice based on the organisation that fits you best. Be careful though because some of the cheap offers have a clause in them that means they will not pay out if you have any other liability policy in play, such as home insurance for example, so when you make a lcaim they walk away - not nice and it does happen I am affraid. So before you join them ask if this clause exisits in the policy, if it does and you have home insurance, what is the point of joining them for insurance! Good luck with your new syndicate and I hope you have a great season. David
