onelesscharlie
Hi I recently got myself a Starlight night vision unit which fits on my .17hmr, .22 and .223. It works a treat and has already made the difference when shooting lamp shy rabbits and foxes but I could not get used to having the recoil pad away from my shoulder. It is not to bad with the 17 or the 22 but awkward on the 223 and I dread to think what it would be like if I put it on the 308, so I made an adjustable recoil pad for the tikka which works really well. Just have to make one for all the others now, so for anyone with similar problems here are a few piccies. best regards Onelesscharlie

onelesscharlie
Hi Made it myself so it didnt cost me anything. Check the recoil pad on your 17hmr to see how it fits to the stock. If it screws on its no problem, if its glued on like the CZ452 then its a little more difficult. A price for a screw on unit would be about £75 (using the original recoil pad). regards Onelesscharlie
