well had 1hr to spare before i had to be home , so i went up the farm to look at new roofs on the old barns they date back to 1800 old slate roof had holes all over used to have loads of ferials intill i came along ...

any way moved into 1 caught sight of 3 ferials so headed back to the car picked up the s10 went back 1 had gone but 2 were still in there , so i moved around the barn intill i had a good back stop .

first one sat there looking to see what i was doing so let loose a defiant 14grain got him head shot down he fell not even a flap ...

second pigeon flew up above me into the v of the barn now it was roof behind so i lined up on him aimed lower as my zero is 40 yards sent a pellet straight into his chest down he fell flapped then nothing ...

third pigeon was out side sat looking into main door of barn , from the other barn 30 - 40 yards , so i moved in the shadows found a nice old sack to rest on in the prone position lined up on him aimed fired got him side shot straight through his wing into his chest down he fell little flap ..

then took the pick farmer turned up said nice shooting , i was going to ring you tell you to get them ferials out but watch my roof so i went with the farmer to show him where id got them armed with my torch to prove i had not damaged his roof .... lol

funny we found few bad bits so hes getting roofers back out to fix the bits they have bodged ...
