Epic Fail
went for a walk around the new permission this afternoon with the 3 shot semi its only about a mile from my house and around 1000 acres... there are crops,, grazing fields,, and even an air strip for light aircraft i wasnt expecting much so only took 25 6's and 25 7.5 i only manages to get round half of it but in 2 hours i had 22 blakies and pigeons and also another 5 or 6 that fell into the crops or trees that i couldnt get i cant wait to get the variation through for this and get the rifles on the land they have a lot of rabbits and rats that need taking care of... unfortunatly i didnt take a decent camera with me but next time i go i will and i need to make a hide down there to use.. the owner is great.. just told me to go have a look around and have a good shoot.. Marcus
Sounds like a nice permission. Good result for your first walkabout - keep it up I didnt know there was an airstrip near PT - is it still in use ?
Beardo
i've got a little airstrip on one of my permissions - always a bit dodgy when one of the 'big pigeons' appears when i'm out decoying
