mubz
The Scottish government are developing a prospective Wildlife and Natural Environment Bill. the bill can be found here http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Resource/Doc/1221/0082607.pdf the bill basically is reviewing current game laws and aspects of shooting. If it goes through all stalkers will have to be on a register and also will have to undertake various "qualifications" before they can shoot a deer. These rules will be enforced by law and will be a legal requirement!! god knows how much they are going to charge us to be on this register and how much it will be for these so called "qualifications" Anyone who does not take these and is not on the register will not be allowed to shoot deer by law. it also is attempting to remove closed seasons for deer. Basc are against this. there is a deadline of consultation which is Friday 4th September 2009 We need everyone to come together on this.
