I've sussed out how to give CPR to rooks crows and jackdaws.

Whilst out this morning knocking some black stuff out the air. I happened to come across a new way to kick start a dead crow back into life. Well almost :o

Picking up some dead birds and adding them to my pattern. I place some dead birds on the metal stake that holds the electric fencing to house the pigs. I slide the crow onto the metal pole via the crows vent, and as luck would have it, the bird started to flap (more of a large twitch really). Once every second the birds wings beat. The vent had come in contact with the eletric wire. Luckily for me, I never received any thumps.

If it had been a still day this twitching would had added movement to my pattern.

Shot 27 birds:- not very good, as the birds were readily decoying but just couldn't connect with them
