the gibbon
HI BIG BILL I fill my bro's bottle with the pump when i am doing mine. If you are doing from half full or a top up it takes about ten mins but if it has none in at all it takes half the 3/4 of an hour i filled it in the shop befor we picked it up. Yes you will get it to full bar if you pump it the the safe max fill presure, that is what i was told buy the gun smith. Hope this helped. SNAKEBITE
According to jjaxeman who has just bought one it takes roughly 450 strokes of the pump and can get a little heavy on the last 3/4 of them but can be done in 10 mins. I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong!
1 of 5
Pump it up well before you want to use it. That way your muscles get time to recover and your breathing can slow back down.

roblade
Hi mate, when it comes to using pumps a very basic rule of thumb (not perfect but close) 1pump=1 shots the more you shoot the more you pump best thing to do would be pump before you go shooting that way should give you 4-500 shots (good days club shooting) and then pump before you leave the range/shoot. At least then all you have to do is next time you want to use it just pop the pump on and make sure there are no faults with the system and its loosing air i.e. same pressure as when it was last used. 1 of 5
You won't get 400-500 shots from a S16. They are not overly air efficient. I remember mine did around 200 to a bottle.
JJaxeman
As snakebite said I have just got a Hill's pump for my S16 and took about 450 strokes of the pump to fill may have been 400 but counting and pumping at the same time does take alot out of you but then the extra work in pumping up the bottle gives extra muscle for carring it around for 3-4 hours LOL LOL. IMHO a pump is good aslong as you are fit enough to do the job (And I am no DALEY THOMPSON) but it is free and you gat a 10 minute work out at the same time as for taking 30-45 min as some suggest they must be juggling a pint in one hand mobile in the other and tring to pump at the same time LOL lOL LOL. In saying all that I wouldn't pump the bottle up just before a shoot since it does take a bit of work. I now have a spare bottle so I can take my time 20-40 strokes at a time with a pint of ale inbetween LOL lOL LOL. All the best Jason Edited May 12, 2005 by JJaxeman
