Loki
Hiya All I have a 6x42 steel tubed Habicht Nova scope from when they first came out; it is looking a little tired with some scratches and bluing worn off. I wont replace it as seen me alright over the years on a favoured rifle so has 'sentmental' value. It appears Swarovski do not now do a rebluing service for these. What options are available to me? what have you tried, heard of - good or bad? I recall 'Duracoat' from a Gamefair a couple of years ago, who wanted about £70.00 to do a scope - anyone tried this coating or what do you know? I did toy with 'Blackfast' as an alternative (but without pricing it up/investigating possibility on optical instrument) but another thread suggested this was a waste of time. Thoughts, views and experience would be most appreciated. Regards L
