mick miller
Hello all, I'm thinking of buying one of these from JS Ramsbottom, they're knocking them out for less than £45 and I would like to replace the wonky Hawke Nite Eye on my recently bought, secondhand Daystate Harrier X for something that hasn't had the objective lens tinkered with, a big flake of paint peeling off inside and a whacking great redundant IR battery slot on top (I'm never going to use that feature...ever). Is there anything better for the money do you think? Would I be better spending another £20 on summat else? It will mainly be used for a little target work and mostly wabbit & pigeon shooting. Your sage advice is as always, appreciated. Ta, Mick.

mick miller
Well, after taking in all the advice I plumped for the Simmons whitetail 4-10x40, lovely jubbly it looks too.
