njc110381
Hey guys. I'm advertising this set up for a mate who's had to give up for medical reasons. The gun is made by E. Contento. It's a spanish O/U choked 1/4 and 1/2 and has double triggers and 2 3/4" chambers. Non ejector and 28" barrels. It's nothing spectacular, has been re-finished after a minor stock repair and has a little varnish on the action. It shoots well though and the barrels and bluing are tidy. It would make a cracking field gun for a newbie. It's on my SGC so there's no mad rush to get rid of it, but it's taking up valuable space! The cabinet is a Boxx. It's a BS marked 3 gun, fairly tidy with double locks which both use the same key. It was my safe before I upgraded to a larger model. He's looking for £175 for the lot which I think is pretty reasonable. I will split later if I don't get any offers, £120 for the gun and £60 for the safe. It would be good for a beginner on a low budget though and I'll even chuck in a couple of boxes of shells (clay or game) to get you started. If it's for a newbie once I've received payment I can hold on to the gun until your paperwork is done unless someone else can take the gun for you (you'll need the safe to get the certificate usually). It's a pretty sad time for me. This guy got me my first permission on a local farm and took me out with my air rifle when I was a lad. We used to shoot together a lot
