Rubbish customer service

Took my BSA lightning to local airgun shop in Aylesbury a couple of months ago as it has some power issues. Phoned them today for an update and they said the BSA sales rep collected it ages ago - so I then called BSA and they said they haven't received it, and they rarely get deliveries from sales reps. This is really poor - they could only top their appalling customer service by charging me (trying not to tempt fate here!)
