lineshooter
Hi Guys, Can someone advise, I have a CZ 550 that I target shoot with, I have just fitted with a 30mm bodied Vortex Viper scope and Millett medium height mounts. I had the scope collomated today for 300 yards but there are only 12 moa (clicks) left for elevation adjustmet, I also shoot at 600 yards so as you can see the scope wont get that far. The mounts are the vertical split ones so no chance to shim them, would going to the high mounts give me the enough adjustment or do I need to do something else. Vectra26
You need to get bases that have MOA built in. I have 20MOA bases on my Howa .308, allows me to get up to 1000 yards. What bases have you got on the 550? If they are dovetail, you may need to get a Picatinny rail adapter.

Vectra26
Sportsmatch do a CZ rail adapter, don't think they have built in MOA though. Are the turrets on the Viper resettable? How much internal adjustment do they have? Can't say I know much about them. I'm sure there's a mount out there that will work.
