Firstly I do not advise anyone whom is not sure of their own capabilities or thge dangers of compressed air to follow my lead.

Well long story short I have a MK1 Logun Pro in .20 cal, a lovely rifle.

When retrieving it fom its home on the last two occasions the cylinder has been empty, obviously a leak somewhere.

Now I have stripped and home tuned many a springer in my time but never really sought to repair a PCP, believing it to be a 'black art' and -covered in gore- dangerous if you get it wrong !

So I set to task, firstly removing the scope, silencer etc from the rfile and then the action from the stock.

I then stripped the barrel and breach assembly from the cylinder/trigger mechanism.

Then I charged the cylinder to 200 bar, and believe it or not dipped it in my indoor pond !

This clearly showed a leak around the cylinder to trigger block assembly.

Now the important bit, de pressurising the cylinder, my Logun is fitted with an Air Arms style filler with a nipple on the end......no no not the shooter....lol

So I placed the filler valve on a steady firm surface and gently applied pressure the the valve, hey presto, all air released form cylinder, now it was a simple matter of firmly holding and unscrewing the cylinder to reveal a chewed 'o' ring, must have been damaged during assembly at some point.

A replacement 'o' ring was matched and a small amount of grease, used for Theoben type filler 'o' rings, was applied to the 'o' ring and the cylinder reassembled.

Once again I charged the cylinder to 200 bar and again dipped action in pond, no leaks !!!!

So a full reassemble of the parts including a few more new 'o' ings around the barrel and port area and well my 'baby' is fixed !

A good mornings work, just need to wait for rain to ease off and quickly re-zero ready for some bunny bashing this weekend.
