We thought of that, but I don't have a shotgun cert so I can only go in my cabinet so long as I don't have access to it, which would be impossible!

A good friend of mine is leaving the army and needs to remove his shotgun from the armoury. His accommodation is rented and the landlord doesn’t want him to bolt a cabinet to the wall. The local FAO is happy for the gun to be out of sight and secured but not necessarily in a cabinet. I’ve had a quick look across the web and found various devices but would rather seek advice from the knowledge users here as what to recommend to him. The FAO mentioned using a cable to go through the trigger which is then secured to either the wall or floor! Any thoughts please
