  1. That 20 gauge load sounds good , I am having to reload everything in fibre as there are no shooting grounds where I live , and all local clay clubs are fibre only , I have found that the Eco wads from fes are really good,I have found the Diana fibre wads not so easy to use on the Lee , how much pressure should be applied to wads when loading ? I have found the Eco wads a lot better because they are more dense than the Diana .
  2. Thanks Langlands, I tried a similar load yesterday and found them excellent, I used them on skeet and found them really smooth , I'm using a Lee loadall and the 7/8 bush was dropping about 26gm in shot 9 with 20.3 grain of as , really chuffed with them!!
  3. Thank you Sitsinhedges , that's good advice I will stick with the tried and tested 21 grains of as.
  4. I've only just got into reloading and have had good results so far using 21grains of as, the reason I asked about 1400fps is I normally use hull superfast and was just wondering if I could get a similar performance with as.
  5. I am currently loading 28gram fibre 12 gauge loads using 21 grains of vectan as and a cx2000 primer , my question is could I get around 1400 fps using vectan as ? Thank you

  8. Hi , I've bought myself a Lee load all 2 to reload some 12g 24gram shot 8 carts,24gram shells are hard to get hold of where I live , my son and I like to use 24gram loads on skeet , I'd be looking at a fibre wad and will be using vectan as powder , I was hoping that someone could let me know a recipie that they have used , I normally shoot hull superfast so I have kept the hulls for reloading , there seems to be a lot of info on plastic wads but not as much on fibre , I would appreciate any help please . Thanks
