Nice one, seems like a good day for everyone. Quick question did you guys use a magnet? Its just every time I use one on rape it seems to put them off.

Sorry for the minimal infomation im new to this. We shot over wheat it had only been put in 5 days. We set up on the brow of the hill between 2 oak trees. We put out 6 flock coated decoys and 5 dead birds in cradles. The first 2 birds landed in the tree to the left so had both with 1 shot and put them out on the magnet 2 more come and sat in the same tree so they had the same treatment but ended on bouncers and then saw nothing for half an hour then a single dropped straight into the patern. Then nothing for about 45 mins and as always just as your about to have a drink they start coming in 3 and 4's for about 3 hours. Not beeing the best shots we used about 300 + cartridges. God knows what the kamikaze pigeon was thinking. But all in all the best days shooting me and my dad have ever had. The farmer was chuffed as well.

Have you ever had one of those days where you seem to think whats going on with the woodies. My dad and I thought lets have a go for some pigeon thinking we might get 20 tops then ending up running out of cartridges and freezer space. Bagging 201 and the first 5 was from 3 shots. But the last bird of the day was the strangest as we were counting the birds my dad shouted duck so I dropped to the floor and woodie wizzed parst me and ended up tangling it self up in the hide netting. Anyone else got any strange story's?

Hi, Im from Banbury and a keen shooter with limited permission and would like to meet some others from the area and hopefully repay any shooting with ferreting and pigeons on my permission when the chance arises. Many Thanks Pete

Hi guys, I am in real need of some shooting (pigeon or wildfowl). im from Banbury north oxfordshire and the permishion i have the farmer is behind and the pigeon seem to have moved on. So if there is anyone who needs help or is willing to help me i will return the favor.
