lakeside1000 Posted August 3, 2014 Report Share Posted August 3, 2014 Quite a small turnout at high lodge for our summer clay shoot, but those who attended were in great spirits, we are a small club who shoot clays for the enjoyment and friendship, every year we meet at a shooting grounds for our summer shoot and manage 100 sporting before retiring to the cafe for refreshments, good weather and a cool breeze made for a very pleasant day, although frustrated by some of the very high birds we all managed some decent scores top was young Ian with 77, I managed a very respectable joint 2nd on 71 with rob the organiser who did a superlative job along with steve , many thanks to them and all who made it such a good day out. quite a challenging ground compared to our Sunday morning club , we are all looking forward to resuming our weekly meets in October as usual, but till then look out pigeons , Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
