Gun Watch Posted August 27, 2014 Report Share Posted August 27, 2014 Lig £100 12 gauge Shotgun Private Seller Used - Average Condition Nr Portsmouth, Hampshire Side by Side, -, -, - barrels Description Looking to thin out the gunsafe a little (And I have my eye on something else!) So looking to sell these two shotguns . 1st is a LIG 12G sbs , Fixed choke , Non ejector and double trigger . A solid workhorse of a gun , Thats great for just leaving on the back seat and not having to worry too much about it . Has a few knocks and dints you would expect to find on a working gun , Few light marks on the metal work , But Nothing to bad , Bores like glass , And locks up nice and tight (The only thing Im fussy about is that my sbs locks up without any wobble) Takes 3 inch shells and is steel proofed . LOP is quite long , Guessing about 14 inch , But has a inch of spacers fitter which could be removed to bring the length down . The 2nd gun has "Made in Belgium" Stamped on the barrel , But weirdly no makers name , Again a sbs , Fixed choke , Non ejector and double trigger . Has some light rust pitting on the barrels , But again nothing too bad , Bores perfect and again , Locks up tightly . Takes 3 inch shells , Guessing here again but think its about 13 inch LOP , But can check if anyone needs me to? I'd rate the overall condition of the LIG as a honest 8 out of 10 , And the other as a high 7 out of 10 . Having said that . May look a little used , But all functions work perfectly and smooth . Both guns have been used , But not abused . Solid work horses of guns that have many many years of use left in them yet . Only selling these as I want (Yet) another 12g sbs and I don't have the room in the safe. . I've found that both guns are really forgiving to shoot , And even I tend to get on with them fairly well .
