  1. I had a couple of messages asking for the gun only, no scope or bottle. Yes that's fine I will sell at £550 but sorry no post, must collect from Ferndown in Dorset. Thanks
  2. No they come with a single piece mount which is also included (like in the picture i added below). I thought having four contact crew points the way I did it might be better - but it probably makes no difference. Its zero eye relief so they sit a bit further back.
  3. In lightly used condition. I bought it new and it has only ever been used as a garden plinker. Very accurate and super quiet. A1 condition. I had it fully serviced and upgraded by HW100 Tuning about 18 months ago and have hardly used it since I took up the challenge of a spring pro-sport. Includes very nice mtc viper connect 3-12-32 scope (zero eye relief) also A1 condition , both original magazines and a nearly full charging bottle with guage, whip and adapter. Bottle is in test until April 2025 and can be re tested then. Collection only from Ferndown Dorset £795
  4. Sorry I didn't have alerts turned on for this thread and forgot to check. Yes still available. I think postage will be around £20. Thanks
  5. Anyone want it for £250 before it goes back in the cabinet until next year ?
  6. Reduced to £725 for a week before I let a local dealer take it. Thanks.
  7. Yes apparently they weren't popular with some folk for exactly that reason. You can see why really - from 10ft on a dark night it could be an M16. That's what appealed to my boy in the auction room. Then he never bothered with it once it was at home 🤔. iPads are more interesting....😞
  8. Yes the HW99S is full power. I bought one for my Dad this spring to deal with his squirrel issues and after a tin of pellets it was almost too close to the limit. Tom - if you are going to spend 220 quid on a HW99S (good little gun) and then have a basic stage one tune you will be spending enough dosh to almost buy the best springer on the market - The walther LGU, or for an extra few pints worth of cash the LGV !! They are better out of the box than either the class leading HW97 OR TX200. Your tuned HW99S will be no match for the Walther and you will have spent about the same. I can vouch for the Hatsan 900x. For the money it's not a million miles away from a HW99S, but you do need to factor in a trigger fettle if you want it to show its true colours.
  9. Good choice, I'm sure it won't disappoint they are lovely to use and very very accurate. Mine has been used quiet a lot and is faultless. I have just ordered an lgv master pro for a bit of springer fun. They now have adjustable butt pad as standard. Will be interested to see if it can compete with the AA TX.....
  10. I just use a wet wipe dipped in the ash (wood ash only). Give it a quick scrub then Polish with a piece of kitchen towel. Takes two mins to do, no scratches and no cost.
  11. These are surprisingly good value little springers. Solid build quality and finish is of a better standard than you might expect for the price. Trigger is the weakest link - it's at best just OK and the length of travel takes a bit of getting used to. I would be happy to spend the 25 quid (even though this is is a third of the rifles value !) to improve the trigger as it could turn it into a really impressive little budget rifle. Let us know how you get on please gemini52. Mr Mole have you been able to improve the standard trigger at all ? I don't see any adjustment from outside but haven't stripped it down yet ?
  12. Pot hunter and Biggsy You've missed the point entirely or perhaps I didn't describe the issue properly. The gun was getting stiffer and stiffer, not breaking in and getting better as you would expect but getting worse. So much so that by the time I took it for repair anyone with weak mist couldn't even open it. Common fault apparently from poor tolerance control.
  13. Yup Accupell rubish in my HW100 - though it's in .177 In fact they produced the worst groups of any I tried. Bisley magnum oddly enough give me the tightest group and discovered this by accident after a similar lack of choice in a local shop.
