pestbry
Just got in from cleaning out my young uns (9 of them) , i built them a ferret court a few weeks ago, transfered them about 2 weeks ago into it. Got 3 layers & 2 nest boxes, 1 box on ground level 1 on 2nd level. With all this poxy rain the ground level is wet (wind driving it in) so the jils move the kits to nest box level 2. I've had to clean the boxes out everyday as the kits were getting wet feeding out then going back in and sweating. Having a job keeping them looking clean lol, so just put polythene on 1 side to stop rain coming in. Handling the kits every day sometime 2-3 times after they have eaten lol, giving them dry food from next week now their teeth are a but stronger. Your kits look WHITE to mine , which are yellow lol Good luck getting rid of them Bry
Huntinlass
Ferretman - yeah they are used to humans, they don't shy away, very confident and inquisitive in fact . I used the wrong wording B) Bry- The Albinos are unusally white, very clean. I keep mine in a massive hutch. they all run around together. They are eating tinned cat food, fresh rabbit, a have access to dry biscuit thoughout the day. I handle the ferrets at least twice a day mainly when I give them the meat. Good Luck with getting rid of yours when the time comes. Edited July 11, 2008 by Huntinlass
