Hi folks, My girlfriend bought herself a Carin terrior and now he is 9 months old ( just castraited) and learning at a good rate of knotts. Now after much talk of him being a "lap dog" i would like to go about proving people wrong if possible.
Now in an ideal world i would love the dog to be at ease around shooting but also am curious if it would be possible to teach him to retreive shot pigeon and rabbit ( small stuff as he is small to) . Does anyone have any advice for me on this ?
These are my questions:
* Has anyone done this before ?
* What will your carin do ?
I would be happy if at the end it only ment that he would come shooting with me as company in the wood or hide and lie at my feet and follow me round without running off or round the place like a tazmainian devil !
