  10. Been to my local gunshop this morning and they have a Win 1500XTR s/a in it is not in great condition i would say well used but it seems cheap enough, i think i could get it for £180. The shop owner said if it was not right he would sort it or give me my money back and it fitted me nicely so should i go buy it. I know very little of s/a guns so has anyone any advice on the gun in question. Are they difficult to clean and what cartridges cycle best. Any other help would be much appriciated. Thanks Andy
  11. I've only recently taken to shotgunning seriously, mainly pigeons and i am thinking of getting a semi-auto. The questions i have are are they suitable for pigeon shooting, can you get them just on a shotgun certificate as i have seen FAC next to some in the mags, and whats a good secondhand choice,i've read good things on this site about the Remington1100 or should i buy a new cheaper make. thanks Andy
  12. Thanks guys for your replies, obvious really. Andy.
  13. Hi this is my first post and am relativly new to pigeon shooting. I have just made a rotary pigeon and would like two flying decoys for it so could anyone help on where to get some, i.ve seen some for £30-£40 each which seems a bit steep. Thanks Andy
