ok, when i look down the scope the target seems even further away than looking by eye?? turning the magnification between 3 and 7X seems to make no difference whatsoever i was kind of expecting a close up view of the target... do i need a more powerful scope or have i set it up wrong, any ideas / help would be greatly appreciated

yep highseas helps alot cheers any idea of the accuracy range, like how close to the target would be too close to use the scope and how far to the target would be too far ? or is it just trail and error?

Just bought this scope off ebay for £20 delivered, know i should have only paid £10-15 but got a bit carried away!! :blink: EBAY LINK Anyway it's for my .22 BSA SuperSport, please could someone tell me what sort of distances (to start with) i should be shooting with this scope? total novice here also what do the 3-7X20 mean exactly? Running low on pellets so I got browsing on ebay, found quite a few different types... DOMED HOLLOW POINTS LEAD POINTED LEAD FREE <---- These sound well cool, anyone tried them? :hmm: Just wondering which type people here use and why? And which type they would recommend for beter long range accuracy

well i've got a BSA SuperSport .22 don't really want to make it more powerful just curious how it would be done and the issues involved cheers mate

I've noticed a few ebooks on ebay talking about increasing the power of your .22 rifle i'm just curious as to how this would be done is it a complicated process and would it be legal / safe? I'm really new to shooting so any info about this would be cool, just curious really thanks in advance
