  1. Site is open all year...........

when i was walking round the site, you could get up close to them (2 yards) before they moved.

even on the wide open areas they didn't move much....At no time did they go under ground...

I counted 170 rabbits.....the ones near the vans run under the decking an you could see them...never see any go down a hole..

  2. Hi

I was on holiday at at caravan site in Scotland, which has a massive rabbit problem. When leaving the site to come back home, I handed a business card into the reception. The girl said she would pass this onto the owner.I received an email from him asking me how I was going to help him reduce this problem,as the site do not allow guns of any sort to be used.

    PROBLEMS

1.. Not many rabbit burrows about, all rabbits under the caravans which are not boxed in.

2.. Went out with my torch at night you could see the rabbits under the van.

3.. Would long netting work,(What would be the best way to set up)

** I was hoping to use air rifle but this is a no no**

    Any suggestions would help.......

When the sun was out they were sun bathing.:lol::lol:post-12735-0-79940600-1382298999_thumb.jpg

  3. Thanks chaps, if anyone can point me in the direction of any shooting clubs etc within a reasonable distance of Montrose that would be great, since moving up here I have realised that the T'Internet seems to have been slow to catch on up here, and there is not a lot of information available on the web. I'll hopefully be on the look out for my first Shotgun before long B) B) , so I'm keep to get as much experience as possible of different guns before I start throwing my cash about (Not that I've got a lot to throw about  ).

Welcome :good: Try Here...http://www.treemac.co.uk .....highly recommended..... I Think it's less than an hour from Montrose

  4. This is what we used to do for cold clime testing in Finland and hopefully your not going to get down to -36C .

Door rubbers wipe a thin coat of vaseline on ,this is what causes the door to be frozen shut.

Locks graphite powder is the best lubricant but we used to use auto trans in an oil can with a rubber tube and piece of brake pipe flattend to go into the key opening.

You don't say what model car but you can buy half covers quite cheaply that cover all the windows and roof.

Yes vaseline around the door rubbers.

last year was standing on the bumper trying to pull open the boot..:lookaround::mad:
